• Advising Toyota Hellas (and affiliated companies in Greece) on corporate law, setting up, operating and restructuring distribution networks, civil, commercial, employment, trademark protection, antitrust, unfair competition, consumer protection, product liability, data protection and public procurement matters.
• Representing Toyota Hellas before Civil Courts and independent authorities (such as the Consumer Ombudsman) in matters related to the above.
• Advising Philip Morris International in connection with the acquisition of Papastratos, the largest Greek cigarette company, the mandatory public offer which followed such acquisition and the merger between the Greek subsidiaries.
• Advising Papastratos in connection with the organization, operation and restructuring of its distribution network, commercial and data protection issues.
• Representing Papastratos before the Competition Commission and Civil Courts on antitrust, unfair competition and distribution related matters.
• Advising Toyota Motor Europe in the context of the latter’s anti-counterfeit and brand protection program; representing client in administrative proceedings including customs seizures of counterfeit products and in litigation before Civil Courts.
• Advising sellers in respect of the sale of a majority holding in Wackenhut, the largest Greek security services company, to G4S. Advising G4S with respect to the acquisition of Greek companies providing security services.
• Advising Stefanel on distribution, corporate, commercial and employment matters.
• Advising franchisors, including Accessorize, Curves, Hamleys, La Senza, on matters regarding the establishment and other aspects of their franchise networks in Greece.
• Advising Amadeus Hellas and its affiliated companies in Greece on corporate, commercial and employment matters.
• Advising Kraft Foods in connection with large scale corporate restructuring of its Greek subsidiaries, including creation of new entities, spin offs and mergers.
• Advising major corporations in fields including specialty chemicals, water technology and pumps industry, on the implementation of cross border restructuring in Greece.
• Advising AOL, regarding the setting up and operation of the Greek version of The Huffington Post and relevant commercial and data protection issues.
• Advising a Greek awarding authority on public procurement and employment law matters; representing client in relevant litigation.
• Representing a foreign trustee in a multi-faceted court case involving issues of law of trusts, real property law, forced heirship law, conflict of laws, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments in Greece, corporate law, piercing the corporate veil.
• Representing Dexia Bank in a lawsuit against the Bank of Greece for damages resulting from breach of EC law on free movement of capital. The case went through all instances of Greek Courts, the European Court of Justice and the Plenary Session of the Supreme Court which ruled in plaintiffs’ favor.
• Advising International Game Technology on licensing, regulatory and gaming law issues.
• Advising Eureko in connection with the acquisition of Interamerican, a leading Greek insurance company (a transaction involving a private transaction with the majority shareholder, a public offer to minority shareholders and the eventual delisting of the company from the Athens Stock Exchange).
• Advising JP Morgan in its capacity as advisor of Cosmote Mobile Communications in the latter’s public offer for Germanos.
• Advising the Greek State in connection with the privatization of Emporiki Bank.
• Advising TCI for the divestment of its shares in Agroinvest, an industrial concern engaged in the processing of agricultural products.
• Advising Ergobank, a listed commercial bank in Greece, in its defence and response to the first hostile takeover in Greece, launched by EFG Consolidated Holdings.
• Representing companies in litigation before the Greek Competition Commission and the Administrative Courts in horizontal cartel cases.
• Clearance by the Greek Competition Commission of mergers and acquisitions in various industries such as household insecticides, medical gaz and medical equipment.
• Representing leading international manufacturers in various industries, such as confectionery, steel, plastic caps, medical – aesthetic equipment, in defective products litigation.
• Advising companies and individuals on real estate transactions in Greece.
